OMG I can relate. I wanted to be healthier, live in integrity, find a good man, feel comfortable in my own skin....and I kept chasing all these ideas of what I thought would bring me that but could never seem to really capture it. It was like I kept doing the same thing over and over....diets, diet pills, online dating, bar hopping, sleeping, avoiding, "cool" friends, eliminating sugar only to sit down and eat like a whole bag of peppermint patties for dinner....no lie lol...you get the picture.
A few years ago it hit me: It was time to find a new path and really go for what I truly desired...peace of mind, integrity, health, an authentic, loving relationship with a honorable man, a career as a health & fitness coach so that I could inspire others to live their best life....
And even now, I still have plenty of challenges I get to work through but I appreciate them. One HUGE challenge I've struggled with probably since like a toddler, ask Tina Shaw, Dallas Shaw, & Larry Arnold, is sugar cravings. Finally end of last year I decided to give Shakeology a try. Really not expecting much but I knew I needed to at the very least get some accountability so that I wouldn't be consuming like 1000 calories right before bed and eating like 10 cookies anytime I went to have "just 1 cookie" and I got soooo much more than I ever expected. New inspiring fun friends, especially my coach Sarah Oskey Morrison <3, accountability, amazing programs and products to add to my coaching business, endless personal development, and a HUGE decrease in sugar cravings which has resulted in more energy, about 10 lbs weight loss, & no bloating/GI discomfort.
My advice for you: If you want it enough that you think about it all the time, keep going for it! You will accomplish it. Stay consistent. Please, please, please do not underestimate the power of being consistent, surrounding yourself with inspiring people, getting a coach, and spending time daily to be intentional and ground yourself. <3 <3 <3
