In my attempts to consume less sugar I've started using this concoction. Unsweetened coconut or unsweetened cashew or almond milk, pure vanilla almond or vanilla extract, and if you like sweet, add Stevia. Try this instead of using syrups or flavored cream in coffee. I'm a huge fan of caramel flavoring. Last week I asked the barista, "how much sugar is in that caramel syrup?" 26 grams of sugar!!! What??! No way! I will pass. That's more than our daily recommendation of 25 grams or less of added sugar daily. No thank you! What's your low sugar faves?
